High temperature chain oil related content

High temperature chain oil is patented research and development of synthetic multifunctional lubricating oil, containing PTFE lubricating particles, products are especially suitable for precision instruments, high temperature conditions of mechanical parts, heavy load equipment. As a synthetic product, the product has good adhesion characteristics, without loss, dettol, evaporation, drying or formation of sticky carbon deposits. The operating temperature is -40℃ to 260℃. Full synthetic high temperature non-carbon chain oil contains the world's smallest coefficient of friction lubrication particles - PTFE (PTFE, also known as fluron ether, Teflon or teflon), PTFE permeability is excellent, its lubrication particles and moving parts of the surface gap fully combined.


The operating condition of high temperature chain oil is harsh. In actual use, the performance of high temperature chain oil is required:


(1) Coking performance Coking quantity is the most important index to evaluate the quality of chain oil. Chain oil after coking attached to the chain and guide rail, resulting in chain operation block, drag phenomenon, friction, impact load, motor current increase, aggravate chain wear, fatigue and waste of energy, serious even cause chain tooth jump, chain off, fracture or frequency converter, motor burn. Coke is the product of high temperature oxidation of chain oil. The existence of water, water vapor, acid and alkali substances and flocculent will aggravate the oxidation and increase the coke amount. Coking is inevitable. A good chain oil has a stable chemical structure, produces little oily coke, and can be taken away, which can prolong the maintenance and coke cleaning cycle of the chain.


(2) Volatility Volatility is another important index to measure the quality of chain oil. Excessive volatilization of chain oil leads to increased fuel consumption and environmental pollution. It is worth noting that if the volatilization is too large, the exhaust fan is not pumped away in time, the oil mist will be formed on the upper part of the oven, and the oil mist will drop after condensation and pollute the fabric. Good chain oil, the less volatile the better. The main reason for the high fuel consumption of the chain is that the oil volatilization is large, which reduces the economic benefit of the chain oil. The characteristic of base oil determines the fuel consumption of the chain.


(3) There is a little gap between the inner and outer chain plates of the permeable chain and between the roller and the inner chain plate, through which the chain oil penetrates into the friction surface between the sleeve and the pin, and between the roller and the sleeve. The chain oil with poor permeability makes it difficult for the oil to enter the friction point, aggravates the chain wear and even the chain bite, and shortens the service life of the chain.


(4) Lubrication performance refers to the oil film retention ability of chain oil at high temperature. Poor lubricity increases chain friction, increases energy consumption and intensifies wear. The lubricity of chain oil is related to the strength of oil film at high temperature and its additive system.


(5) Low temperature performance in winter, when the equipment stops for a long time to restart, if the viscosity of the chain oil is too large or solidification occurs, it will lead to the start-up of the equipment, prolong the preheating time, and even burn the frequency converter or motor. Therefore, the chain oil is required to have good liquidity at low temperature.
